PILGRIM
is a Danish brand producing fashion jewellery, accessories and watches.
PILGRIM
products reflect broad fashion trends with a difference. The PILGRIM designs
always stand out from the crowd. Often the difference comes from daring the
unexpected like using materials and colours in new and original combinations.
PILGRIM
jewellery is primarily made of tin or zinc alloyed with copper, and then plated
with either enamel, 16 carat gold or sterling sliver. The stones we use include
CRYSTALLIZED (tm) Swarovski Elements, semi-precious stones and glass. They also
use natural and freshwater pearls. Their jewellery is 100% nickel-free and each
item is individually hand-made.
The designers Annemette Markvad and Birte
Markvad have been looking forward to introducing a new and
innovative feature in their collection.
The Pilgrim Jewellery company is family owned
and was established in 1983 and are the epitome of innovation in the
making of fashion jewellery. They strive to be ahead in fashion and
have developed several designs over the years.
All the design is done in Skanderborg,
Denmark, where the company is based.
History:
Annemette Markvad and Thomas
Adamsen started PILGRIM in 1983. They spent the first years
traveling around selling jewellery in the streets of Denmark and at
festivals. Some jewellery items were made in their small apartment
in Skanderborg and they were always quick to turn a good idea into
the real thing.They quickly began exhibiting their jewellery at trade fairs in
Denmark.
A few years later they moved to larger premises – the basement of a
large, old house and in 2003 they moved into the present HQ in
Skanderborg Denmark
